A friendly family needs someone to work one to two days a week in a large home keeping it orderly, clean, and maintained. Position Responsibilities: • All aspects of cleaning a kitchen, maintaining and doing routine cleaning of appliances including doing dishes and doing surface and deep cleaning of stoves, fridges, steamers, etc. and floors ( 2 full kitchens, 1 pantry with sink & dishwasher, 1 minibar with dishwasher) • Cleaning bathrooms (6) • Making beds and changing bedding bi-weekly • Floors including tile, wood, and carpet: sweeping, vacuuming, steam-cleaning • Dusting surfaces whole house • Baseboards • Cleaning chandeliers and light fixtures • Cleaning stairwells and stairs • Cleaning mirrors, door glass, and some windows • Miscellaneous cleaning projects including organizing cupboard, closets, pantries, and more • Seasonal and holiday décor putting up and taking down (assisting) • Laundering towels, sheets, & blankets • Other projects as needed Position Qualifications: • 1 year cleaning experience or equivalent • Experience with Sargent Steam cleaner preferred or willingness to learn how to use Sargent Steam equipment and use in multiple applications including floors, sinks, toilets, showers etc. • Willingness to clean Green - mostly chemical-free (we provide supplies & equipment) • Must like dogs • Must pass a background screening Additional Info: The homeowner owns multiple rental properties that may need move in/out cleaning which could offer the opportunity for additional hours from time to time. Homeowner also runs businesses from the home and some clerical work could be available if the applicant has experience, and is interested in that type of work in addition to cleaning.
