Description

$20+/HR—FOR PERSONAL ASSISTANT TO JOURNALIST (Dancers or Actors Welcome) Hello All, We're a friendly married couple (a journalist and a doctor) living in Chevy Chase near downtown Bethesda. We’d love to hire an energetic, upbeat, creative person to serve as a part-time personal assistant for $20 per hour. Ideally this would be a person who could help me (and my husband) to actualize a number of projects and goals, including organizing our household and home office, improving our use of basic tech and social media, documenting family history, and helping manage home renovations with contractors. One additional but totally optional goal would be to help us with fitness activities--with the goals of enhancing flexibility, cardio etc. (We are already lean and fairly fit but there’s always room for improvement!) You could come from any background or profession. That having been said, it might work out beautifully to hire a DANCER or an ACTOR, who is seeking a flexible schedule and a friendly, supportive workplace. However, a person from an entirely different background could also work out well! In terms of our location, we are very conveniently located in a verdant, placid neighborhood, right off Wisconsin Avenue and within walking distance of Red Line Metro Stations (Friendship Heights or Bethesda) and major bus lines. We also offer plentiful and free parking in our driveway or on the street in front of the house. By the way, we were both fully vaccinated for Covid-19 weeks ago and yet we are fine with masks. A resume is strictly optional. However, if you’re interested in this part-time position, kindly respond by email, making sure you include ALL OF THESE SEVEN OF ITEMS: 1) Your name/email address and phone number (so we can contact you). 2) A little about yourself and your background (including education) 3) What interests you about this position. 4) Your exercise/athletic, dance or acting background or interests (if any) 5) The time periods each week when you’re typically free to work. 6) The general part of the DC area where you live. 7) How you normally travel (by car/Metro/bus or Uber etc.) We look forward to speaking with you soon! Cheers and all the very best to you!
