Hector is an adult male Cuban knight anole that was found surrendered in a Walmart. He has gained weight here and is doing well eating Pangea, crickets, dubias, and superworms. Hector was almost certainly originally wild-caught, so he is wary of humans and does not like being touched. However, he is a respectable anole and lets you work in his cage without interfering. His adoption fee is $40. PLEASE READ! If you are interested in adopting Hector, you need to fill out an application at www.bewildnc.org/apply. Research the species you would like to adopt in advance and consult multiple sources, we are happy to answer questions. Adopters agree to pick-up the animal in Durham within 7 days of their approval.
