Live In 24-7 Care For Elderly Parents

Immediate opening for experienced & compassionate live in caregiver to live with my elderly parents in Woodway subdivision in Victoria Texas. Parents are in their early 90's and need help with multiple daily activities including taking medications, personal hygiene, cooking, housework, laundry, shopping, medical appointments, etc. Mother has moderate dementia with very limited physical activity. She has minimal short term memory & often sleeps 14-18 hours a day. She occasionally has accidents, needs helpful assistance with activities taken for granted. Dad is much more functional with minimal physical limitations but has heart problems, diabetes. Both Mom & Dad take multiple medications. They are very loved and good people with issues of people their age. Their house is very comfortable and has a private bedroom, bathroom, TV for live in caregiver. We presently use the service's of Comfort Keepers when present live in needs time off or has personal business to attend to. Mom & Dad watch TV until 11pm then go to bed, Dad gets up 8am ish & begins day, Mom sleeps much later and requires more oversight when awake than my Dad. I'm immediately looking for 24-7 live in caregiver with experience, honesty, integrity and personal references. The ideal candidate is single female between the ages of 45-65 who would benefit from provided room & board & can devote necessary time to my parents to keep them comfortable. I am not set on the gender or age of the caregiver but more concerned with a good fit for parents and caregiver. Salary is typically paid in cash on Fridays and pay is flexible based on qualifications, ability, and level of care provided to my parents.
