— Job Summary — Clear Construction is a growing general contracting company specializing in high-end residential construction serving Los Angeles, Ventura and Santa Barbara counties. To best serve its clientele, Clear Construction includes in-house finish carpentry on site. We are seeking carpenters with comprehensive experience performing finish carpentry. The ideal candidate is ambitious, detail-oriented, a great communicator, and comfortable collaborating with colleagues. Applicant must have their own vehicle and tools and be willing to travel within a 60-mile radius. — Responsibilities — - Install baseboards, trim, molding, hang doors, install hardware - Build cabinets, vanities, tub and shower surrounds and other projects based on demand - Exhibit extreme accuracy and detail when measuring, cutting and assembling - Select, order and pick-up materials - Install cabinets, built-ins and hardware - Collaborate with fellow carpenters to complete projects - Deliver quality and professional workmanship - Provide solutions for situations where challenges are known in advance or become apparent during course of the job — Skills — - Able to read and interpret cabinet, framing and construction drawings - Attention to detail and high quality standards - Possession of basic hand tools and reliable transportation - Capable of climbing ladders and carrying at least 80lbs - Knowledge of lumber grades and carpentry materials - Strong verbal and written communication - Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and willingness to work overtime to meet deadlines - Self-motivated problem solver — Experience — - At least 5 years work experience in carpentry trade - High school diploma/GED - Expert knowledge of power tools including table saw, miter saw, skill saw, jigsaw, routers, etc. — Compensation — - Competitive - Based on experience and skills — Benefits — - Great team environment - Paid Time Off - Eligible for health insurance benefits - Consistent work schedule - Opportunity for growth Please respond with resume and why you think you’d be a good fit. www.clearconstruction.com
