Fort Worth Pest and Termite Services serves all of north Texas and is looking to hire a new technician. Experience is preferred but not necessary - will train. Confidentiality is guaranteed throughout this process; we will not contact your current employer until or unless we offer you the job and get your permission to do so. This is a full time, permanent position, not seasonal. Starting salary for no experience is $36,000 per year guaranteed, or higher if you do have experience and/or other valuable credentials. You will likely also earn commission on sales and leads. You will be assigned a take home vehicle that we pay everything on. Benefits include Medical, dental, vision, 401k. Raises in between can be earned with additional training and /or certifications. Work hours are usually 45 to 48 hours per week in summer, and 36 to 40 in the winter. Again though, it is a salaried position so your pay will remain consistent except that commissions will increase as your sales increase. Work days are typically M-F 8-5 but hours can vary a bit. Each technician also works a 1/2 day (4 to 5 hrs) on only one Saturday per month. We are looking for someone long-term to learn, embrace, and fully implement the Fort Worth Pest methods and practices. During the summer months, you will get hot and sweaty from working outside in the heat especially when pulling a truck mounted hose. About 50% of our services are spent outside where most pests originate. There can be frequent stair climbing, and working in some unfavorable conditions at times. Unlike most other pest companies, we do NOT service restaurants, nursing homes, or low-income housing, and very few pier and beam crawlspaces. All technicians service a variety of clientele, mostly houses, apartments, and commercial / industrial sites. We pre-schedule all appointments AND confirm them for you and you typically will serve about 6 - 7 clients per day. Must speak and write English legibly, be 21 years or older, have a Texas DL, have no arrests on your record, and a clean drug test. Recreational off-hours 420 is acceptable. A thorough background check will be done so please be honest - no arrests. No face, neck, or hand tattoos or facial piercings. Hair must remain above collar, no long beards.
