Our Sheriff's Office is currently looking to hire a full-time General Services Aide to work in the Public Safety Training Center. In this position, you will help to support the training of Washington County Sheriff's Office employees and staff from other agencies. You will be responsible for setting up classrooms, and light janitorial duties in the staff locker room, training classrooms, the indoor firing range, the simulation city, and other areas as needed. In addition, some general reception and other miscellaneous tasks as described in the essential job duties may be required. Experience and Education: -Equivalent of a high school or a GED; AND -One (1) year of experience that includes driving a vehicle and performing related general labor duties in an office, retail, or warehouse setting. Background Investigation: This position requires the completion of a detailed statement of personal history and successful completion of a criminal and personal history background check. Department of Motor Vehicles Records Requirement: Driving a motorized vehicle is an essential function of this position.
