Landscape Crew 2
Immediate Supervisor: Landscape Crew Leader
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Maintain grounds of industrial, commercial or public property, performing a combination of the following tasks:
a. Cut lawns, using hand mower or power mower.
b. Trim and edge around walks, flower beds and walls.
c. Prune scrubs and trees to shape and improve growth.
d. Rake leaves and clean or sweep up litter.
e. Shovel snow from walks and driveways, spread de-icing materials as necessary.
f. Depending on size and nature of contract sites, use trailer equipped with attachment, such as mower, lime or fertilizer-spreader and lawn roller.
g. Perform all types of weeding.
2. Work ethics and job related interpersonal skills required as follows:
a. Maintain a regular attendance record.
b. Be punctual when attending.
c. Appropriate grooming and hygiene.
d. Appropriate interaction with co-workers, to include appropriate language for the work place
e. The ability to take direction from the supervisor.
3. Safety and Security:
a. Maintain assigned work area to promote safety and efficiency.
b. Assure all tools assigned are in good and safe operating order.
c. Maintain a safe and orderly storage system for tools and supplies.
d. Follow safety procedures and maintain all safety standards.
4. Other:
a. A clean DMV record is required.
b. Record timesheets accurately for hours worked.
c. Perform any other duties assigned by the Landscape Supervisor.
Starting Wage/Work Hours/Benefits
$13.00 - $17.00 per hour, M-F 7:00am - 3:30pm
