Doesn’t really matter that the two party’s exchanged names after the Great Depression. The republicans guessed (chose) wrong for maximum public appeal and power. Right now they wish they were on the side of our evolving America, but they are stuck defending the shrinking pure white race. There is no re write here just a party that appeals to fewer and fewer voters. Now, republicans are re-writing voting laws and that will not save them. Only a popular message will. They are hanging by the thread of the filibuster.
