UPCOMING EVENT: Spring Volunteer Orientation For Stargazey's Equine Therapy Spring is here, and we are getting ready for an exciting year of therapeutic and rescue equine based activities! Our Spring Volunteer Orientation is a great opportunity for you to get involved with our program, and become part of our volunteer team this year. With a variety of volunteer opportunities available - there is something for everyone! About Stargazey's Equine Therapy: Stargazey’s Equine Therapy was established in 2010 with the mission to provide hands-on equine activities and therapeutic programs for individuals of all ages and abilities. Our tailored programs focus on providing a comprehensive curriculum to build skills, aid personal development, overcome challenges, and achieve personal goals. The safety and wellbeing of our participants and horses are our foremost concerns, and we seek to provide an inclusive, fun and accessible environment for all. In addition to our therapeutic program, we endeavor to provide new opportunities for equines. Our rescue and revocation program is unique — we not only provide equines with the care they require, but also create a training program tailored to help them thrive in a new vocation (with many of our training graduates going on to work in therapeutic activities). Event Details: The volunteer orientation will consist of a talk on program practices, volunteering opportunities, safety drills, and a time to meet, and interact with some of our equines. Attire: We ask that attendees wear appropriate clothing, and closed toed shoes. Social/Food: After the talk there will be an opportunity for volunteers to socialize, and nibbles will be provided during this time.
