We’re adding members to our team! Work for a great farm with truly happy chickens. We are seeking multiple people to join our team of egg washers. No previous experience necessary. The job entails washing, sorting and packing eggs - you will learn how to operate our egg wash machine, prep and label, tape boxes and learn all of the ins and outs of what goes into preparing eggs for retail sale. It’s a very straight forward job but requires the ability to handle and see multiple details and to be on your feet during the entire shift, moving fairly quickly while sorting eggs. The shift ends with cleaning and disinfecting the equipment. Our goal is to put out a great product as efficiently as possible and we value innovation, communication and team collaboration. This is a great job for those who want part time work during the day. The shifts are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, & Friday. We start at 9:30 or 10 am and go until the eggs are finished being packed - usually 6-7 hours, except for Tuesday which is shorter. Knowledge of egg washing or farming is a bonus, but not necessary, you will receive on the job training. Our egg wash station is located offsite, 5 miles from the farm, in Longmont.
