Power line contractor looking for general labor. The work includes loading and unloading material, assisting lineman in framing power poles, stringing and rolling up air hose, tamping in power poles and more. There is a possibility of advancement. This can be an opportunity to learn the lineman trade. We do have an apprentice lineman program that is in association with the US Department of Labor and approved by the Veterans Administration. Upon completion of our program, the Journeyman Lineman Certificate will be issued by the US Department of Labor. This program in not promised to everyone, you must earn it, but we have had workers start out as laborers that earned the Journeyman Lineman Certificate. Requirements 1. Must be able to pass an observed drug test. 2. Must have a valid driver’s license with good driving record (We will check). Having a CDL (commercial driver’s license) is preferred, but not required. 3. Must be able to travel from state to state. Our main work area is Oklahoma, Missouri and Arkansas, but we are licensed to work in many more states. Email your resume or call for a telephone interview.
