GERMAN SHORTHAIRED POINTERS... So, can I rant for a minute? Please, if you are going to bring a GSP into your life. Do your research and make sure you fulfill the needs of an incredible and tireless athlete, a sensitive soul that does not tolerate being an outside dog. They require you time, your love and your sensitivity. They require mental stimulation, freedom to run and swim and thrive in the great out doors! If you live in an apartment, please do not get a GSP. and you cannot have any of my pups at any price.. so don't even ask. Get yourself a teacup poodle or a Yorkshire terrier. Give them your attention and your cuddles. GSP dogs were designed to use their nose and run 15-20 miles stalking, pointing and retrieving birds on land and in water and running, not on six foot leash around your neighborhood. Swim them, hike them, run them, hunt them, do nosework with them. Let them thrive. If you are keeping these dogs in kennels all day without letting them run or swim for at least an hour twice a day then look at different breeds that are more suitable to your lifestyle and be honest with yourself about what that looks like. If you dont want a dog that is under your feet and follows you to the bathroom and lives in the house as part of the family, get yourself a livestock dog and a herd of goats instead that lives outside. I am passionate about these dogs and have been involved with them for over 20 years. I love this breed to death, give them what they deserve, not what suits your lifestyle! Thanks for listening Now with all that said, I have 10 very nice looking, male and female GSP pups that are needing a new home that will provide all of the above for the rest of their long wonderful lives. These guys come from a long line of highly regarded GSP dogs from outstanding kennels full of GSP dogs that live to HUNT ! Pups are now 7 weeks old, they have the drive, the desire and the HEART to give everything they have to YOU and for YOU ! Its what a GSP dog does. They live to please you. If you want a dog, a pet, a new family member that will love, protect, and be loyal to you and yours and you have the desire to give to these guys what it takes in order to help them reach their full potential. Then call, text or write and we can talk. You must be willing and ready to provide these guys with a home forever. Yep there is of course a rehoming fee, it's small compared to the lifetime of unconditional love and companionship these pups will provide to you
