Looking for info/pics of 1957 black little league team-The Sputniks

I am writing a book about my high school coach and mentor. He passed away last November while we were writing about his childhood. A big part of his life was when he played for an all-black little league team named "The Sputniks" - sponsored by the now closed Germantown YMCA and coached by an incredible man named Mr. Edwards, an elementary school teacher. The team was part of a six-team league that played at the Mt. Airy playground....in 1957. The Sputniks were the only black team in the league. My coach was the only white player on The Sputniks. I will tell the circumstances if you have something. The Germantown Historical Society is looking for any pictures or articles/info on the team. But so far nothing. Any help is appreciated. This book is self published so there is no money...I will give credit any helpers.
