Please email a price quote. You buy the paint (I will specify a Sherwin-Williams color). I am looking for a price for the job, not an hourly rate. I will pay for paint up front and labor upon completion.
Do not ask to see the garage first, I am not making appointments, you know what a garage looks like. There is nothing tricky here, I will not waste your time if you don't waste mine.
- I have a normal-sized 2 car garage with a water heater cove. One wide door not two narrow ones.
- Walls are about 14 feet high.
- I do not want the big door painted.
- I do not need the ceiling painted, if you think it's a big deal then explain and remember that I am cost sensitive.
- Walls are coffee white, I want them a light gray so it should cover easy and I am cost sensitive.
- The door into the house is fine as is.
- I have some shelves that you would need to unload and move away from the walls (and put back when done).
- There is a refrigerator in the garage and I may need to keep it plugged in during the painting.
- Car will be out.
- Garage is not air conditioned.
- Electric door opener present and working.
YOU DO HAVE TO KNOW HOW TO TAPE/CUT IN WELL. Spray or roll, don't care but specify. If you are a pro then say so and if not give me a reason to think you are very good at cutting in.
Quotes should be emailed to me by 4/13, job should be done all at once and completed by 4/27. The 14th and 23rd are bad days to schedule painting.
I will respond to all quotes by 4/14.
Thanks.
