Lost Grandmother’s Gold Ring

Hi Internet, I lost my grandmother’s ring sometime between the morning of Apr 3 and the evening of Apr 4. It’s a yellow gold band with a flat top embossed with two Chinese characters, my grandmother’s maiden name. I was on the beach near Bob Straub State Park in Pacific City on Saturday and drove back to Seattle on Sunday. The ring could have been lost anywhere in between. My great grandmother gave the ring to my grandmother before she joined the army. My grandmother kept it safe through war and revolution. After losing the ring, I realized this is the only thing I have from my grandmother. I hoped to someday pass this to the next generation. I feel immense guilt and sadness.
