Description
We are looking for someone with at least 3 years of experience welding in an aerospace capacity. This will be a temp to hire position. If interested please send your resume to [email protected]
Job Duties below:
1. Verifies and completes paperwork. Assures the router S/N and the part S/N match verifies that the weld procedure number in the router match weld procedure sheet (WPS), fill in any information required and stamp operations when completed.
2. Uses and/or interpret sketches, blue prints, specifications, verbal and written instructions and shop routers.
3. Identifies and follows weld joint.
4. Set-ups, adjusts, and operates manual weld equipment; including selecting appropriate fixture and identifying the proper weld procedure (WPS).
5. Uses power tools, hand tools, and shop equipment as required.
6. Maintains work area and weld machines (check wear in foot control, welding torch and argon lines).
7. May drive company vehicle or forklift
8. Completes Operator Acceptance Program (OAP) certification, as required.
