At present, our Parts department is looking to expand its team with the addition of a Shipping & Receiving Associate. Duties & Responsibilities To continue our tradition of excellence, you will: • Process all in- and outbound shipments including but not limited to: sorting, logging, delivering, packing and shipping. • Audit each shipment prior to packing to ensure that goods match order. • Pack and label products based on established standards. • Prepares shipping and receiving documentation; maintains orderly files for all documentation. • Participates in scheduling of daily transportation. • Processes all receiving transactions and paperwork. • Inspects all incoming freight for damage; follows-up with appropriate staff to resolve issues. • Assists in maintaining material inventory levels. • Assists in maintaining safety and housekeeping standards in warehouse shipping and receiving area. • Performs other related duties as assigned Minimum Required Skills & Competencies The ideal candidate will have the following: • 1 to 2 years related experience or equivalent in a shipping and receiving/warehousing role. • Familiarity with shipping practices and handling methods. • Commitment to excellence and high standards. • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and experience interfacing with warehousing software. • Able to stand for extended periods of time. • Ability to manage priorities and workflow. • Acute attention to detail. • Ability to communicate in English (verbal and written). • Must have valid driver’s license. Preferred Skills & Competencies • 3+ years of experience in shipping and receiving/warehousing role. • Experience working in marine services industry. • Valid mobile equipment and forklift license. • Enthusiasm for the marine/boating industry.
