DEPARTMENT: MAINTENANCE REPORTS TO: MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR JOB SUMMARY: PERFORM ALL ASPECTS OF DAY-TO-DAY MAINTENANCE AND UPKEEP OF HUNT PROPERTIES MAJOR DUTIES: • Plumbing replacement and repair of faucets, tubs, sinks, garbage disposers, valves, waste lines, toilets and vanity tops • Service or replace stoves, hoods, wall heaters (gas and electric) dishwashers, fans (including ceiling), and exhaust • Repair and replace light fixtures, switches, outlets, etc. • Woodwork, replace and repair cabinets, doors, kitchen counters, fences, patios, windows, wood siding, wood facia, etc. • Demolition removal of all fences, patios, old tubs, old cabinets, kitchen counters, and minor termite damage • All necessary repairs to make the apartments ready to rent • Painting when needed • Special projects as needed ACCEPTABLE EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING: At least 3+ years experience as a maintenance person in a multi-family and/or commercial setting. Must possess a valid driver’s license and all the necessary documents required by the government for employment. Must be physically able to lift at least 50 lbs.
