We are currently seeking a self-motivated and professional part-time Material Handling Assistant to join our outdoor warehouse team for 8 to 12 hours per week. If you are a hardworking, responsible individual who can complete tasks successfully with little to no supervision, then we are interested in you. In this position, no experience is necessary as we are willing to train the right individual that is willing and able to learn. You will be responsible for tracking inventory, processing orders, assisting customers and storing merchandise. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, our ideal candidates must be able to demonstrate outstanding physical fitness. Pay is $25 per hour. Our hours are currently as follows and may change as the season progresses to a few more: Thursday from 11am until 3pm, Fridays from 11am until 4pm, Saturday mornings may come into play as well, but not mandatory for lawn maintenance. Responsibilities: Load and unload inventory from delivery trucks, storage areas, and production areas. Ensure all incoming products match the company purchase order. Store cargo in assigned locations using cargo boards and pallets. Manage inventory by identifying, cataloging, and recording the location of inventory. Record the number of units handled and moved every day using production sheets. Analyze pick sheets based on clients' orders and pull the appropriate products for each order. Track supply levels and regularly submit purchasing recommendations. Comply with all safety and health regulations. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent qualification. Experience in a similar role is not necessary as we are willing to train the right person. Excellent physical fitness with the ability to lift up to a maximum of 100 pounds. This is a part-time position and would be ideal for someone looking to pick up some extra hours. Outstanding organizational and communication skills. Background check conducted.
