Work in Alaska for the summer! Shelter Lodge, an Alaskan sport-fishing lodge, is looking for a Boat and Facilities Maintenance person. Mechanic background preferred. Will train the right person! Employment will be from May 1st to September 20th. AIRFARE, MEALS, and HOUSING provided! REQUIREMENTS Must be willing to comply with company Covid-19 plans which include mask wearing and social distancing. Must be in good health and able to lift 80 pounds. Must enjoy working in an outdoor environment. Boating experience preferred, but not required. Must be able to conduct daily tasks with limited or no supervision. Must be able to get along with fellow workers in a remote setting. Must submit results of drug screen urinalysis prior to employment. Results of drug screen must indicate no use of illegal or dangerous drugs including marijuana. COMPENSATION/BENEFITS Hourly pay rate DOE + tips. Average 8 hour per day 5-7 days a week. Paychecks are distributed bi-monthly. Housing - Private room with shared bathroom/shower facilities. Bedding, towels, and laundry facilities available. Meals - Daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner are provided while at the lodge. Company is required to withhold applicable federal taxes from paychecks.
