Urgently Looking for the right person that will be able to come on board and join our team Job details Salary $15 - $25.00 an hour per hour depending on how many years experience you have Full-time Qualifications High school or equivalent (Preferred) Power tools: 1 year (Preferred) Full Job Description Job Description for Plastic Fabricator: The plastic fabricator makes custom designs to exact specifications. The position entails the bonding of various types of plastics to deliver high quality products within a given timeframe, using solvents such as Weldon, MC Bond, and others. Critical responsibilities and duties: · Special fabrication projects using knowledge of plastic bonding techniques and precision tools/machines. · Use measuring tape, do addition and subtraction of measurements in inches and fractions of inches. · Cut material to size using table saw, panel saw, and hand saw. · Trim, drill, bond, sand, countersink, grind, bend and finish parts to specifications. · Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and related documentation. · Maintain and care for all shop tools, machines, and equipment. Maintain a clean and neat work area. · Receive and inspect material deliveries, carry sheets of plastic or other large products. · Help clean the shop as required · Other duties as assigned. Knowledge and skills required: · Reading construction plans and specifications: 1+ year · Plastic fabrication or cabinet making: 3+ years · Ability to listen well, follow instructions carefully and communicate effectively. : Must be a team player and work with others · Accurate and detail-oriented, with good mathematical skills. · Ability to work with shop tools and machines safely and effectively. · Self-motivated, able to work consistently and productively under minimal supervision Job Type: Full-time Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour per hour depending on how many years experience you have Benefits: Health insurance Simple 401K The hours are 8.00 to 4.30 Monday - Friday with some over time hours and or weekend work needed Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: plastic: 1 year (Preferred) Power tools: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: Norfolk Va downtown near ODU If you want a job and ready to go to work for a plastic leader that has been around for over 80 years then send over your resume along with a phone number Thanks and look forward to hearing from you soon
