Baryshnikov aka "Bar-Bar" is a handsome 6 year old black cat with sleek, shiny, fur who can dance!  He was a dumped cat who found his way to a managed cat colony.  One day Bar-Bar showed up with a lacerated tail.  He was brought to a shelter where his tail was fixed and so was he!!   After Barr was returned to the colony, he was bullying the other cats.  His ears are a little ragged due to fighting.  Since he was a friendly cat, the colony caretaker took him inside, but could not keep him.  Bar-Bar is clearly no fan of the great outdoors or other cats, so he should be your only cat.  He is playful, vocal, and affectionate, but can get overstimulated if touched too much.   Bar-Bar has led a difficult life.  Please give him the forever home that he deserves.   The adoption process includes a small fee, a questionnaire, 2 personal references and a video home check.  The adoption fee covers updated vaccinations and his general care.  See more of Bar-Bar on Instagram @purrfect_cats_nyc.
