Family owned and operated since 1913, Boston Showcase Company is the premier restaurant and foodservice design, equipment, tabletop, furniture and smallwares dealer serving Greater Boston and beyond. We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as a Delivery Driver and Warehouse Operator. We supply restaurants and foodservice operations with kitchen equipment and supplies. Expectations & Responsibilities: - 40-50 hours per week, starting most days at 7:45 AM - Candidates are expected to be on time or early at our Newton, MA location - Make deliveries to various customers throughout Greater Boston – load a cargo van in Newton and make up to 20 deliveries of varying size per day. - Make sure all deliveries are done in a professional manner, all paperwork is signed by the customer and returned at the end of the day. - Assist Warehouse Manager as needed in the warehouse, helping to manage our inventory by both receiving incoming goods and loading outgoing goods. - Ideal candidates should be willing to put the team first, enjoy helping others, be great at multitasking and able to adapt quickly and learn new responsibilities. - All candidates are expected to live the Boston Showcase Company Core Values while at work: o Respect Others o Be Accountable for Your Actions o Care About the Customer o Communicate Constantly o Go Above and Beyond Benefits & Compensation: - Starting compensation is $18/hour - All full-time employees receive health insurance and the option to join our dental plan. Employees are eligible to participate in our company’s 401k program after one full year of employment. Employees receive 10 paid holidays as well as 10 paid vacation days (increases over time).
