Description
We are looking for a highly skilled experienced body and frame tech. Candidate have a demonstrated ability to perform with minimal direct at a predetermined efficiency level: Follow applicable Standard Operating Procedures – SOPs for all shop processes and procedures including part and material handling, Properly use all welding equipment including but not limited to Squeeze Resistant Spot welders, MIG welders, cutting tools and other tools associated with structural repairs and metal installation Restores damaged exterior panels to their original form, function, fit, structural and non-structural integrity, and appearance Must be able to perform repairs using the following tools panel spot welders nail guns polyester and epoxy filler materials adhesive bonding MIG welder SRTSW panel welders Plastic welders including nitrogen and airless Use vendor and OEM Standard Operating Procedures Ensure high quality repairs are delivered to the paint department for refinishing sanded to the appropriate grit abrasive. Use of hand and power tools for removal/repair and or replacement of new or damaged parts Repair and or install parts using current repair or replacement specifications Complete quality control checkpoints as work is moved to next repair location within the store Repair of plastics is a key element of this technician and level Identification of plastic types, appropriate plastic repair materials and an overall proficiency in plastic repairs is critical in this position Responsibility for keeping pace within the work zone to maximize repair efficiencies Have a working knowledge and competence in working with safety systems in both removal and reinstallation/installation.
