Amazing Hawk on UF Campus

Today I saw a hawk like this one gracefully land on the top of a lamp post and just calmly survey his surroundings, which, at that moment, included a group of students sitting at a table no less than 30 feet away. It made me think of just how amazing it is to live in north central Florida where such extraordinary creatures are pretty much flying around, or I should say, soaring, all day long.
