SENIOR RESTORATION TECHNICIAN Locally owned, national property restoration franchise (handling fire, water, smoke & mold damage remediation / restoration to residential & commercial properties), seeks a Senior Restoration Technician in the Bakersfield area. Experience: Must have at least 3 years in the restoration field and possess a range of IICRC certifications and training certificates. Daily Activities: • Inspecting new jobs and signing up customers, setting work plans • Coordinate and direct crews (working alongside newer techs) • Training crews on restoration techniques, procedures and light construction skills • Communication with customers, management, insurance adjusters, vendors and subcontractors, both in writing and verbally. Skills: • Must be a very good communicator, verbally and in writing • Problem solving for complex technical issues • Possess a thorough understanding of issues related to contaminants, mold, and bio-hazards. • Understand customer needs as they relate to timeliness, sensitivity, and process planning • Basic Knowledge of Xactimate Attitude: • Strong work ethic, reliable, trustworthy, and friendly. • Display a willingness to learn new skills and systems. • Work as a team player or individually. • Seek training and direction Strong Leadership Skills Required Location: Bakersfield Hours: Hours Vary PT/FT, On-Call Wage: $21.45-25.09 BOE Benefits: Paid Vacation and Holidays; Sick leave; Bonus Plans Other: Must have CLEAN DMV record and pass BACKGROUND CHECK “We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
