Join us for a dazzling 3D immersive light show that will be the first of its kind for Albany, produced by MagicWig Productions Inc. Please register for a time slot to come view the Albany Film Festival Projection Mapping display. Each ticket is for a party of up to 4 people. Advance registration allows for physical distancing at the outdoor event. Face masks must be worn by all attendees at the event. The display will include a narrative of the Capital Region’s cultural legacy and the history of major movies filmed on location in the area. The 195-foot wide, 45-foot high narrative light show is being launched by the institute in conjunction with the Colonie film company MagicWig Productions and “Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation” composer Joe Kraemer, an Albany native. UAlbany students, faculty, staff and community members of all ages are invited to experience this dynamic public art display.
