Homemaker/Housekeeper Senior Community Services is looking for compassionate people to provide housecleaning for adults age 60+ in their homes. OPENINGS IN THE FOLLOWING CITIES Brooklyn Park, Brooklyn Center, Plymouth, Minnetonka, Minneapolis, Bloomington, Richfield, Edina, Eden Prairie, St. Louis Park, Golden Valley, New Hope. JOB DESCRIPTION: HOME Program House Cleaner 5-30 hours per week (Build your client base as much or as little as you'd like) Make your own schedule M-F during daytime hours Duties can include cleaning, laundry, changing bedding, grocery shopping/running errands *Cleaning experience preferred, must be 18 years of age or older. HOURLY WAGE: $15 per hour with a mileage stipend in between client's homes, and paid breaks 15 min breaks every 4 hours worked SENIOR COMMUNITY SERVICES VISION: Mobilizing the Community to Reimagine Aging Our employees are compassionate, outgoing, efficient, creative, resourceful, and calm. It is important to have a desire to serve seniors, while supporting them to maintain a sense of well-being along with independence. DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: Primarily - General cleaning to include: Vacuuming, dusting, mopping, sweeping, cleaning bathrooms etc. Laundry and changing bed linens Grocery Shopping - Picking up groceries and/or running errands Maintain records (turn in timesheets and mileage) with attention to detail REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION ARE: 18 years of age or older Ability to manage a schedule and complete paperwork (via email) Reliable transportation (public transportation does not fit this position) Availability to work M-F daytime (you set your schedule) 5-30 hours per week (Dependent on how many hours you have available and client load) Cleaning experience preferred Willingness to drive to the homes of senior clients in Hennepin County.
