Beautiful Young Adult Female Cat - Needs Rehomed Due To Owner Passing

My mother passed away unexpectantly last spring, leaving her beautiful gray female cat, Boo. She is long-haired and about 4 years old. We took her for the last year but unfortunately it isn't working out. We have a young child that we had to put the litter box away from and into the garage and that made it difficult for Boo to get to and she has had accidents on our furniture. We have tried having the door always open, having her stay in garage but unfortunately it's still not working out. She never had accidents at my Mom's. I truly feel it's just our home that doesn't work for her and we are sooooo sad to see her go. She is very sweet and loving. No other issues. We just think she would do best in a home without small children and easy access to a litter box. Please help us find a loving forever home. We are heartbroken to have had to come to this decision and truly want the best for her.
