Press release from the Town of Northborough: April 8, 2021 Downtown Traffic Delays starting 4-22-2021 Drivers should be prepared for delays while traveling through the downtown area of Northborough. Starting on Thursday, April 22, 2021 Eversource will be working to replace the gas main in Main Street between Hudson Street and Church Street over a period of approximately 4 weeks. Drivers should seek alternate routes during this time to avoid this area and the expected delays. The work will begin on Thursday, April 22nd and involve both daytime and nighttime work. Two lanes for eastbound traffic and one lane for westbound traffic will be open in the morning and two lanes of westbound traffic and one lane for eastbound traffic will be open during the afternoon.
