I have a sedan on a p2p car sharing app that got cosmetically trashed by a renter, and needs some love. Please read all before taking the job. Current condition of vehicle. - Renter left vehicle full of garbage and excessively dirty. - Suspect vehicle could contain biohazard drug paraphernalia, including open needles. Must use caution and protective gloves when reaching under seats, etc... - Battery is dead or near dead. - Vehicle unlocks/locks with an app. Requirements of the Task - Assess condition of vehicle, and thoroughly document with photos and descriptions. - Clean interior and exterior of vehicle. Involves taking to a car wash, and potentially making an appointment to have the interior (seats) professionally detailed. (Potentially can use off-the-shelf upholster stain remover.) - Will need to jump vehicle (it's dead). - Make appointment with mobile locksmith for them to get you into the vehicle (it's dead so app will not unlock), and make a copy of the key (renter took key). (We have title, etc... to verify ownership of the vehicle.) - Drive vehicle for 45 min at highway speeds to adequately charge the battery. - Perform a basic inspection of the vehicle (fluids, tire pressure, etc...); we have a checklist. - Place new key in glove box for retrieval; (we have a worker who regularly comes to inspect the vehicle). Equipment -We will reimburse for all car wash / detailing costs, and/or supplies such as stain remover (Must Have Receipts) -Jumper cables and vehicle to jump. -Smart phone to take pictures of vehicle condition.
