MALDEN, MA — The search for a Malden man charged with the murder of a Yale graduate student has expanded internationally. The U.S. Marshals have secured a "red notice" warrant through Interpol, which calls on member countries to arrest 29-year-old Qinxuan Pan on charges of murder and larceny, ABC News reported this week.
Pan is accused of fatally shooting Kevin Jiang, 26, an Army veteran who was attending Yale's School of the Environment, in the East Rock neighborhood of New Haven Feb. 6.
Pan was last seen driving with family members in Georgia in February, authorities said. He is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Authorities are offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to Pan's capture. He should be considered "armed and dangerous," the U.S. Marshals said.
