Description
Join us on Thursday May 27th to taste 9 fine samples of Sangiovese based wine and discover the elusive flavors of pure Sangiovese grape. Sangiovese is a wine known by many names, but none are quite as fascinating as “Sanguis Jovis”, meaning the blood of Jupiter, or the Roman king of the gods. While Sangiovese plantings are found worldwide, the grape's homeland is central Italy. Join us on Thursday May 27th to taste 9 fine samples of Sangiovese based wine and discover the elusive flavors of pure Sangiovese grape. The wine bottles will be hidden in brown bags so you will need to rely on your own senses, experience and preferences to evaluate each wine. After each flight, attendees will be asked to vote on their favorite wine in that category.
