The break happened between numbers 7 and 9 on the road, according to the Danvers Department of Public Works.
"We are shutting the water down now and all of Oberlin will have no water," Danvers DPW said shortly after 8:30 a.m. "Water will be off for approximately four to six hours."
Danvers DPW said the town is completing water flush8ing on Cornell.
