Overview: Pediatric practice in Peabody, Massachusetts is looking for a General Maintenance Worker. We have an immediate need for a dependable, well-organized individual to join our team. The right maintenance technician will be able to take direction and be self-motivated. This is a 30 per week position. Candidates should have strong knowledge of general maintenance and repair issues. Responsibilities include: Responding to facility issuesGeneral minor repairs and maintenanceCoordinate with site personnel for general facility tasks, repairs and maintenanceGeneral facility support tasks including ordering office and business supplies. Shipping or delivering packages as necessary. Ordering kitchen supplies. Inventory control of printer cartridgesSchedule and oversee periodic inspections such as fire extinguishersOrdering computer equipment as necessary as well as help with setting upMove equipment and or supplies as requiredMaintain storage facilities and occasionally move itemsManage employee badges and take photosMaintain orderly and debris-free stockroomAssist with logistics of on-site projects and special functionsAssist with space planning and renovation projectsPerform other duties as directed Requirements: Ability to travel to all five offices, is required.Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license and insurance for traveling to other locations and errands.Must be well organized and have the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlinesAbility to troubleshoot and suggest the course of actionStrong communication skills, both verbal and written.Must be able to maintain confidentiality.Able to lift and /or move up to 50 pounds, sit, talk, hear, stand, bend, walk; use hands and fingers, handle or operate objects, reach with hands and arms; climb and balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and use repetitive motions of the hands and wristsPlease send resume to [email protected] for consideration
