NASSAU COUNTY, NY — The Nassau County Police Department reported the following thefts from cars for the week ending April 8. Items were stolen from an unmarked car parked on Wilson Street in West Hempstead on April 1.Both license plates were stolen from a car parked on Hicksville road in Bethpage on April 1.An NYPD parking permit was stolen from a car parked on West Oak Street in South Farmingdale on March 31.An iPhone was stolen from an unlocked car parked on Lion Lane in Westbury on april 5.A driver's license and Social Security card were stolen from an unlocked car parked on Kell Place in Seaford on April 6.Two paychecks and an LIRR train pass were stolen from an unlocked car parked on Swansdowne Drive in Seaford on April 6.
