JOB TITLE: Facility Technician Assistant FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt HOURS: Full Time (30+ hours per week) or Part Time (Up to 29 hours per week) – there are multiple openings for both full-time and part-time COMPANY OVERVIEW Vesta Property Services provides property management and related services to developers of planned unit communities and residential associations. SUMMARY The Facility Technician Assistant position, under limited supervision, is responsible for assisting with the general daily maintenance of the facility areas. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES include the following: • Assist in maintaining all exterior areas of buildings, including brushing debris from walls, ceilings, and all outdoor surfaces. Pressure wash when needed. Remove leaves and weeds. • Pick up debris in and around the facility. • Assist housekeeping to maintain appearance of all indoor spaces by vacuuming carpet, mopping floors, cleaning windows, bathrooms, counters and tiled areas. • Perform general painting, plumbing, carpentry, etc. • Assist F&B staff with setting up/breaking down of furniture in various rooms during peak times if needed. • Work in a safe manner and recognize unsafe situations.
