On Monday, Cid will mark the one-year anniversary of his being admitted to the hospital by running a 5K. He will be running with family and friends from his home in Byram to Greenwich Hospital, located at 5 Perryridge Road, according to a news release from the facility. To show their support, hospital staff, doctors and nurses will greet Cid at the corner of Lafayette Place and East Putnam Avenue at 12:30 p.m. to run or walk the final blocks of the 5K. The hospital also noted Cid was the 2,500th coronavirus patient to be discharged across the Yale New Haven Health system on May 18, 2020. Patch has reached out to Greenwich Hospital for further information.
