Press release from the City of Bellaire: April 6, 2021 The Bellaire City Library is excited to announce they will reopen the doors to limited in-person services and adjusted hours on April 7 at 10 am.To provide the safest experience for everyone, building capacity restrictions will be enforced, wearing facial coverings will be required, computer time will be limited, social distancing will be encouraged, and short closures for sanitizing throughout the day may occur as needed. Donated books will not be accepted at this time. All programming will continue virtually, story times will still be recorded and presented on the Library's Facebook page, and craft kits will still be sent home for children. Curbside hold pick up will continue during the library operating hours and library cards will be issued with proof of address. Curbside hold pickup will continue during this time. Public computers are limited to 1 hour per day per person and there will be no food or drink consumed in the library. Social distancing recommendations will be followed and facial coverings must be worn properly while in the library.
