JL Schwieters Building Supply Construction, Inc, is a complete component/pre-fab manufacturer and full building supply center. We manufacture roof and floor trusses, wall panels, stairs, fireplace/entertainment centers and many other pre-fab components. Our labor division performs the field install of these products. We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to help with our current growth! There are 3 buildings we maintain the equipment; preventative maintenance, break downs, parts, installs, etc. Our newest building contains brand-new state-of-the-art equipment that will allow us to build more components. This candidate will spend time in all the buildings learning and working on the equipment. We are seeking a candidate with good welding and fabricating skills who can build carts, shelving etc. Candidate will also help keep our machines running and will be doing preventive maintenance on our equipment. Other duties include but are not limited to; forklift operation, light facility work as needed (light bulbs, light plumbing etc.), inventory and replacement of parts, conveyor maintenance, tool repairs, and more. Ability to work at heights. Candidate will not be responsible for anything HVAC related. A strong electrical knowledge is a huge plus!
