Re-homing 1 year old pit bull

We found Scar and have had him for a little less than a year. He has had all of his shots and he gets a check up every 3 months at Banfield pet hospital. I just can't handle the constant wheezing anymore. I am allergic to dogs. We have been trying to re home him with little luck due to the conditions we are living in. I love him as do the kids so we hope to find him a home rather that surrender him because he runs the very high risk of being put down. He loves kids and plays well with other non aggressive dogs. He hates vacuum cleaners and being scolded. He was abused by his original owner and I think that's why, we witnessed him being thrown out the car that faithful day. Please call if you are interested.
