Moon Over the Mounds – sponsored by the Friends of Crystal River State Parks Crystal River Archaeological State Park Tour this ancient historical site which is a National Landmark. Tours are guided by professional Archeologists and Anthropologists under the Moon Light. This six-mound complex is one of the longest occupied pre-Columbian sites in Florida. View the Crystal River from the top of a Temple Mound built about 600 AD. Learn about the Ancient River Dwellers who lived at this complex. Price includes Park entrance fee. Due to limited number of visitors on each tour, cancellation requests require 48-hour notice. This gives us time to resell the ticket.
