do you think to yourself, "I so wish I could record my music but I have no idea where to start and I'd need thousands of dollars worth of equipment anyways." ? you've been overcomplicating it in your head. Assuming you already have a computer and instruments, all you would need beyond that is 2 or 3 pieces of equipment that cost roughly $100 each. You need a 2 channel MIDI Interface ($100-150), a decent pair of monitor speakers ($100+), and if you want to record vocals you'll prob want a condenser microphone. That's literally all. I can teach you the rest. You would have to sign an agreement to purchase the audio production software if you decide to stick with it, I don't want to get in trouble with those companies. But I just checked and the lowest base line version of the software I would have you work with is $99, but you'd prob want the $199 version. And this particular one includes free upgrades to new version releases for life once you've purchased. But you can demo the software for free if you would have me show you the ropes and I can show you exactly what to do and make it not only look easy, but actually BE easy for you to do yourself. I haven't thought about what I would charge for once or twice a week lessons because the idea to share my method only just struck me. We can decide on a fair price for my services together that is affordable for whatever financial situation you are in. Here are examples of my own music, I wrote and did everything myself, I programmed the drums inside the software to sound like a real drummer, and I can show you how to do the same. My method is concise and very organized and easy to understand. Call me and we can talk about it. David.......... this was all recorded and mixed last year by me, every detail: https://allgreenlightsallthetime.bandcamp.com/album/everything-was-too-different-nothing-was-different-enough-2020 p.s. My music is rather complex as far as what I'm doing within the program, the more straightforward your songs are the more "professional" your mixes are gonna come out. If you listen to my earlier albums you'll notice a gradual decline in the overall audio quality....that was just the progression of my 17 year learning curb....if you learn from me now you will be able to bypass that curb and jump straight to the level I'm at now.
