After finishing his commitment of service to the Navy, Chris "SweetNur" Nurthen moved his family from Virginia Beach to Memphis to pursue his life long dream of becoming a Singer/Songwriter. Together with his wife they built SweetNur's: Home of the Iron Pie from the ground up, and they now use the platform to support his journey as an independent artist. Chris' style comes from a wide spectrum of influences, which you'll hear when he plays, but his ultimate goal is appeal to your ears with his melody and your heart with his sentimental lyrics. He has an enormous catalog of music that he is bringing to life as we speak and is thrilled at the opportunity to show it to you.
