Join us in a peaceful garden to learn how to make one of a kind necklaces out of upcycled materials. Join Pangea Kali Virga, sustainable Miami designer and fiber artist, at Naomi's Garden for a sewing workshop teaching participants fun and useful skills while making a beautiful necklace to take home out of upcycled materials. Participants will each complete and take home a necklace using an array of colorful upcycled tee shirt yarn. All materials will be provided for this fun, expressive, and educational 3 1/2 hour sustainability workshop. Get your tickets now to come make beautiful art and see the value in upcycled materials. Fresh food and beverage will be available for purchase with many vegan and vegetarian options on site at Naomi's Garden. COVID19 Precautions- Event will be held outdoors with roof coverage. Please wear a mask. Hand Sanitizier will be available to all participants. ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR Pangea Kali Virga is an enthusiastic creator who's work spans many sides of the fashion and art industry. She is a fashion designer, stylist, curator, and producer with high standards and a conceptual spirit. Her aim is to build collaborative networks and moving experiences through her work and all of her projects with a focus on sustainble living and crafting. Pangea is the Executive Producer and Creative Director for the Miami On Sight fashion show, a public fashion show series that highlights local sustainable Miami designers and artists. Pangea has been sewing and doing related crafts for over ten years and has been a sewing instructor since 2015.
