Plate Burner Would you like to work for one of the best steel fabricators in the United States? Halvorsen USA, located in Cleveland, Ohio is looking for a qualified full-time plate burner. The Qualified Candidate Must Have: • Minimum 3 years shop experience operating a CNC burn table, Oxy fuel, plasma, Bug-o track burner, hand torches, weld repair • Ability to read blueprints, follow work orders, and work in small teams • Ability to layout bevels and trim lines, inspect and use inspection tools • Understand shop math • Material handling experience — overhead crane picking and lifting, use of chains and plate clamps • Ability to perform physical labor and lift at least 50 pounds Preferred Skills • Experience cutting various types of steel and alloys • Plasma Bug-o burning • Welding ability • Advanced layout experience • Fitting experience Halvorsen offers competitive wages, a great work environment, and excellent benefits including: • Healthcare • Paid holidays • Vacation and sick days • 401K retirement plan • Relocation assistance Wages dependent on years of experience and industry knowledge.
