AURORA, IL — A mass vaccine clinic is set to provide doses to 2,500 Aurora residents Tuesday, with officials now accepting registrations for appointments.
Registration opened at 2 p.m., with tickets still available at 2:25 p.m. Residents claimed 2,000 tickets to a previous vaccination clinic in under 15 minutes.
The event Tuesday at Fox Valley Mall will be the city's ninth mass vaccination clinic. Residents can sign up for a vaccine if they are 16 or older, according to officials. The clinic is only open to Aurora residents.

Saturday's clinic will provide doses of the Pfizer coronavirus vaccine to the first 2,500 residents who register. Pfizer is the only vaccine approved for use in the U.S. for 16- and 17-year-olds.
Residents can sign up here to receive a link to register for a vaccine at the mass clinic. Registering on the Eventbrite website does not guarantee residents will get a vaccine Tuesday.
Jewel-Osco and the Fox Valley Mall are partnering with the City of Aurora and Mayor Richard Irvin for Tuesday's "Mass Vax Aurora" clinic. Residents who register for a vaccine will receive more details about the clinic's time and location.
