Be an independent contractor and work on your own time. Install and remove residential real estate signs for Jeff's Signs. Jeff's Signs has been in business for over 30 years and we install/remove signs for Berkshire Hathaway (the largest real estate company in Pittsburgh and surrounding areas). You must be able to work the route 2 - 3 days per week (daylight hours only) for approximately 1 - 3 hours each day (and you can set your own hours). I am looking for two workers to cover the Akron, Canton, Cleveland, Medina, Fairlawn areas. Due to the nature of the work, it is a prerequisite that the individuals selected actually live IN or NEAR one of the above localities. If you prove to be dependable, this is a good way to earn extra money. You MUST have a pick-up truck and/or Van, and you also must have the physical stamina to be able to dig 18” inch holes to install the real estate posts (the posts can get heavy as well). If you only have a car or SUV, please don’t apply since a pick-up truck or van is an absolute necessity in order to perform the job properly. Other tools that are required for the position include a post-hole digger, a digging bar, pliers, screwdrivers, and a cordless drill. Pay is “per-unit” and is based upon each sign installed or removed. On average, you should make approximately $20 - $25 an hour for each hour you are on the road doing signs. Many of our installers have been doing this for 20 – 35 years. This opportunity is perfectly suited for able-bodied retirees and is a great way to make extra income.
