Bring in the new season with a Spring hike as we explore the trails of the Detroit River International Wildlife Refuge for migrating birds! Now that Spring is here Michigan will be getting visitors from the South. Theses Feathered visitors from South America and Central America are coming to our area to start and raise families. Come meet and greet your new neighbors at the Detroit River International Wildlife Refuge. Please note: 1. All participants will be required to wear face masks for the duration of the event 2. The hike will be on the Humbug Marsh Unit beginner trail a. For this hike a pair of tennis shoes would be appropriate footwear 3. You are responsible for bring sunscreen, water, snacks, etc. 4. We will have Portable toilets available for restroom purposes 5. Binoculars will be available for use *IF COVID PROTOCOLS ALLOW* there may be a chance we can not provide binoculars.
